We are looking for a proactive and autonomous Warehouse Manager to take charge of the operations of a new warehouse. As the first person on-site, you will be responsible for the initial setup, implementation of processes, and daily management of inventory and logistics activities with a small team (2-3 people).

Your role — Warehouse Management

You structure, organize, and supervise all warehouse activities to ensure an efficient, safe environment aligned with the company's production and shipping needs. You will play a key role in setting up processes and in the continuous improvement of logistics operations.

Responsibilities

Warehouse setup and organization

  • Define the physical layout of the warehouse to optimize reception, storage, and shipping.
  • Implement labeling, shelving, and workflow systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment compliant with current standards.

Inventory and material handling

  • Receive raw materials, check document compliance, and make system entries.
  • Store materials in an organized manner and maintain accurate, up-to-date inventories.
  • Prepare materials intended for production according to daily needs.
  • Manage finished product storage and maintain required inventory levels.

Shipping and outbound operations

  • Prepare shipments: packaging, labeling, documentation.
  • Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers.

Operational efficiency

  • Identify, recommend, and implement improvements in warehouse processes.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment.

Training and experience

  • Relevant experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory management.
  • Interest in managing a small team.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take charge of a new operational environment.

Key skills

  • Excellent organization and rigor.
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility, and initiative.
  • Ability to use inventory or warehouse management software (WMS).
  • Communication and collaboration skills.
  • Forklift experience or certification — an asset.
  • Fluency in French; functional English.
