About the project

Do you want to play a key role in setting up a new logistics environment? This opportunity will allow you to actively participate in the launch and organization of a new warehouse in the naval sector.

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be the first person on site and will be responsible for structuring logistics operations, implementing warehousing processes and supervising a small operational team. This role requires autonomy, leadership and a strong sense of organization to ensure effective management of material flows and inventories.

Main Responsibilities

  • Set up the complete organization of the warehouse to ensure efficient receiving, storage and shipping operations.
  • Define logistics processes, including labeling, shelving and material flow.
  • Supervise daily receiving, inventory and order preparation operations.
  • Enter and track data in the ERP system or inventory management software.
  • Coordinate shipments, transport documentation and relationships with carriers.
  • Supervise and support a small team of 2 to 3 employees in their operational activities.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness and organization standards in the warehouse.
  • Identify opportunities for improving logistics processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse management, logistics or inventory management.
  • Ability to work autonomously and structure a new work environment.
  • Experience or interest in managing a small team.
  • Good knowledge of an ERP or inventory management system.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with a forklift (asset).
  • Bilingualism French / English required.
