Indirect Procurement plays a pivotal role at P&WC, by providing all goods & services that support the business and operations .

As a Commodity Manager R Indirect Procurement, you will be leading the P&WC procurement strategy for your assigned spend categories, with objective to meet the business needs and generate sustainable value for the company. Your contribution will directly impact the company's operational and cost efficiency.

This will be achieved by establishing strong relationships with your internal customers; exploring innovative solutions; negotiating key contracts; leveraging synergies with our sister divisions of RTX and challenging the status quo.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site .

What will your day-to-day look like?

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:

  • Design, lead, and implement advanced procurement strategies for high-visibility spend categories, deploying a strategic negotiation approach to secure maximum value and long-term organizational alignment.

Cost Optimization & Change Management:

  • Drive P&WC R s cost-saving initiatives and act as a catalyst for change, transforming data into new commodity opportunities while delivering impactful strategic presentations to senior executives.

Supplier Relationships & Contract Lifecycle:

  • Serve as a premier relationship builder to cultivate high-trust partnerships with key suppliers; manage complex contract lifecycles and negotiate agreements that mitigate risk, ensure optimal performance, and stimulate mutual innovation.

Project Management & Process Improvement:

  • Develop and execute critical procurement projects by leveraging modern technologies, AI tools, and project management methodologies to streamline processes and uncover structural efficiencies.

Leadership & Matrix Collaboration:

  • Partner with procurement teams across Raytheon Technologies to influence, drive alignment, and maximize corporate synergies.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in growth, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in Strategic Procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex projects, executing high-stakes negotiations, and delivering impactful results.
  • Master R s Degree (MBA/MS) (an asset)
  • Experience leveraging AI to optimize procurement workflows and data analysis
  • Strong background in customer relationship management or structured project management office (PMO) methodologies
  • Change Leadership: Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, lead strategic initiatives, influence stakeholders, foster collaboration, and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve their best.
  • Strategic & Negotiation Mindset: A forward-thinking approach with the ability to align complex procurement negotiations and long-term strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build robust, productive, and influential relationships with both internal business units and external strategic partners.
  • Contract & Project Expertise: Skilled in project management principles and advanced contract negotiation, with a solid, deep understanding of key legal terms and commercial conditions.
  • Adept at gathering data, analyzing complex spend information, and solving problems effectively to drive operational excellence.
  • Fluent in both English and French, with professional-level proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating written agreements in both languages.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
