Indirect Procurement plays a pivotal role at P&WC by providing all goods and services that support the business and operations.

As a Commodity Manager - Indirect Procurement, you will lead the P&WC procurement strategy for your assigned spend categories to meet business needs and generate sustainable value. You will establish strong relationships with internal customers, explore innovative solutions, negotiate key contracts, leverage synergies across RTX, and challenge the status quo.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:

  • Design, lead, and implement advanced procurement strategies for high-visibility spend categories, deploying a strategic negotiation approach to secure maximum value and long-term alignment.

Cost Optimization & Change Management:

  • Drive P&WC's cost-saving initiatives and act as a catalyst for change, transforming data into new commodity opportunities and delivering impactful presentations to senior executives.

Supplier Relationships & Contract Lifecycle:

  • Serve as a premier relationship builder to cultivate high-trust partnerships with key suppliers.
  • Manage complex contract lifecycles and negotiate agreements that mitigate risk, ensure optimal performance, and stimulate mutual innovation.

Project Management & Process Improvement:

  • Develop and execute critical procurement projects by leveraging modern technologies, AI tools, and project management methodologies to streamline processes and uncover efficiencies.

Leadership & Matrix Collaboration:

  • Partner with procurement teams across Raytheon Technologies to influence, drive alignment, and maximize corporate synergies.
  • Mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture rooted in growth, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 5 years in Strategic Procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex projects, executing high-stakes negotiations, and delivering results.
  • Master's degree (MBA/MS) an asset.
  • Experience leveraging AI to optimize procurement workflows and data analysis.
  • Strong background in customer relationship management or structured project management office (PMO) methodologies.
  • Change leadership: demonstrated ability to act as a change agent, lead strategic initiatives, influence stakeholders, and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic & negotiation mindset aligned with organizational goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Contract & project expertise with understanding of legal terms and commercial conditions.
  • Adept at gathering and analyzing spend data to drive operational excellence.
  • Fluent in both English and French with professional-level proficiency for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements.
