As an Account Manager, your main responsibility will be to manage all aspects of the supplier relationship to ensure an uninterrupted flow of parts for critical and strategic accounts. You will act as a strategic leader within the organization, and as the main point of contact for Repair Suppliers on commercial and escalated issues. You will lead contractual negotiations, and manage actions pertaining to the establishment, business continuity and continuous improvement of the Vendor Management organization.
This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Build strong relationships and robust business process with critical Repair Supplier(s)
- Conduct regular business reviews with suppliers to enable efficient two-way communication, and ensure key performance indicators (rates, TAT, delivery, volume, capacity, quality, etc) are met
- Lead critical topics (senior escalation), identify strategic risks, and escalate within the organization
- Develop business strategies and business innovations
- Lead negotiations in partnership with the Strategic Sourcing team
- Manage and resolve issues impacting the flow of parts
- Collaborate with different organizations (Aftermarket, MRO engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, etc) to drive actions to closure and meet the organization's objectives

The technical skills and experience you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in Aerospace or Aerospace Aftermarket industry supporting Supply Chain, Sales or Operations / Logistics; OR Advanced degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to propose new and creative solutions, and meet deadlines
- Ability to analyze and filter pertinent data from various sources
- Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed expectations
- Project management skills
- Understanding of contractual language
- Familiarity with engine operation, assembly and overhaul methods preferred
- Knowledge of MS Excel, SAP and Power BI preferred
- Occasional travel
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
