The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Configuration Manager, Customer Services to join our Fleet Efficiency team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work collaboratively across the A220 Programme organization to improve in-service fleet performance.

Reporting to the Head of Governance & Business Planning in Customer Services, you will contribute to the core mission of the Fleet Efficiency team: ensuring the safe and economic operation of the in-service Airbus A220 fleet while continuously improving customer satisfaction.

The team is structured to foster autonomous, cross-functional collaboration where members support one another and learn collectively.

In your role as Configuration Manager, Customer Services, you will maintain control over the A220 in-service configuration by orchestrating the A220 Service Bulletin Control Board (SBCB).

Your challenges:

  • Own and manage the Service Bulletin Control Board (SBCB);
  • Manage the weekly SBCB agenda to ensure all required topics are addressed;
  • Coordinate with In-Service Program Managers to ensure topics are fully prepared and ready for presentation based on their developmental stage;
  • Track all Program Change Requests (PCRs) impacting the in-service fleet and ensure an appropriate in-service strategy and commercial policy are presented and approved at the SBCB in a timely and high-quality manner;
  • Ensure that SBCB decisions are properly documented and distributed;
  • Ensure that commercial policies are formally recorded and approved;
  • Work closely with the Warranty team to align SBCB decisions with applicable warranty policies;
  • Ensure Major In-Service Problems (MISP) and Continued Airworthiness Review Board (CARB) items are prioritized at the SBCB;
  • Identify and communicate technical publication priorities (e.g., SB, AWL, AMP, OIT, IPDP) to relevant stakeholders;
  • Maintain and update the SBCB process referential, driving continuous improvement and liaising with key interfacing processes (CCB, Fleet Improvement, Technical Publications, etc.);
  • Uphold high standards for SBCB decision-making and management processes.
  • Collaborate with the Program Configuration Management team to ensure in-service requirements and decisions are properly identified and documented at the program level (e.g., attending Pre-CCB meetings);
  • Deliver consistent and standardized outputs to Program Change boards.

Your boarding pass:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Aeronautical Engineering), Project Management, or equivalent technical experience;
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the aerospace industry or an In-Service Program Management environment;
  • You have a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary projects, supported by strong business and financial acumen paired with a strategic perspective;
  • You are recognized for your proactivity and rigorous time management. Highly autonomous, you take full ownership of your responsibilities and possess a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities;
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and an uncompromising commitment to professional integrity and customer focus;
  • You ideally bring previous experience with Airbus—specifically on the A220 program—and/or extensive knowledge of Customer Services or Fleet Efficiency.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
