This drives the need for Customer Service leadership for successful entry-into-service (EIS) of these new products. In the EIS Program Management team, we lead and govern the preparation of entry-into-service for new engine programs, implement state-of-the-art technical and commercial solutions for customers, leverage the latest technology, and commit to proactivity, integrity and respect. What will your day-to-day look like?

You will be responsible for leading the entry-into-service of strategic engine programs, working with aircraft OEMs, Customer Program teams, Customer Service SMEs, Engineering, Marketing, OPM and multiple international teams to deliver a world-class customer experience. The role requires strong leadership by influence, problem solving, consensus building, and regular reporting to P&WC executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead EIS program governance and activities across program teams and aftermarket disciplines (MRO facilities, service centers, mobile repair teams, part distribution, rental engines, tooling, technical publications, commercial services, warranty, digital technologies, product performance, advanced engine health management).
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, business development, customer service SMEs and strategy owners to define, monitor, track and influence new program deliverables.
  • Manage program risks: identify, evaluate, mitigate and report within the program team.
  • Manage Entry-into-Service budget requirements and prepare business cases.
  • Interface directly with partners, suppliers and customers, requiring tact and courtesy.
  • Lead innovative initiatives to improve product and service experience.
  • Use CORE methods to define efficient standardized best practices for future product EIS and incorporate lessons learned.
  • Conduct simulation events to identify system gaps and develop mitigations.
  • Maintain effective communications with stakeholders and global multidisciplinary teams; prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.

This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position with flexible hours, based in Longueuil and performed exclusively on-site.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree with 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Field of studies: Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, Business.
  • Strong project management skills and business judgment.
  • Good technical and product knowledge (engines); expertise in aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul.
  • Experience working directly with customers and OEMs.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc.).
  • Occasional business travel.
  • The position is based in a French-speaking work environment and requires a very good knowledge of English to read, understand and communicate daily with international documents, customers and suppliers.
