The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for Programme Portfolio manager and Programme SMS Officer based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). You will be part of programme management team and your role will be to optimize and rationalize the Value generation for the programme in line with Top Company Objectives, manage Programme non recurring costs OP (Operative Planning), optimize and arbitrate “Value for Money” across A220 programme organisation by leveraging synergies, streamlining processes. Define, implement and drive an organisation model to optimize the Programme Budget in regard with the Company Objectives and drive programme performance measurement.

Your challenges:
As Programme Portfolio Manager
- Define and implement the portfolio structure and operate the model across all internal teams. Set up an organisation model across the company, including Role and Responsibilities, Process, Methods & Tools and governance
- Define the A220 portfolio short-term and long-term strategy in line with company objectives. Translate A220 strategic priorities implementation and ensure the allocation of the right budget-resource to the right projects to support company ambition. Drive portfolio governance across all levels of the company and oversees a team of 7 portfolio leaders
- Lead the Operational Plan preparation for programme organisation, setting the priorities in line with the Strategic Company Objectives, fitting with financial targets and complex projects and resource constraint.
- Manage non-recurring costs governance for the programme organisation in close cooperation with finance, programme and portfolio leaders, including establishment of the cost control process and the management of quarterly financial exercises
- Develop and deploy a value management system: Conduct projects value evaluations to identify value drivers and project performance measurements;
- Ensure portfolio deployment is compatible with overall Airbus strategy;
As program SMS officer:
- Safety Management system fully deployed & enhanced across Programme organisation: lead Safety Management System Programme representative team
- Safety culture in Programme organisation reaches the SMS maturity standard: by delegation of Head of A220 programme & Head of A220 flight safety, ensure Safety is always managed at top priority for Programme. ensure people awareness and commitment to Safety
- Continuously improve the Product Safety & ensure safety topic monitoring up to their closure: lead Safety risk Assessments and deliver safety topics derisking projects in collaboration with all involved functions of the company.
- Be the programme representative within the overall Airbus Canada Safety management system and organisation: ensure Programme support in all subjects, projects requiring its involvement
Your Profile:
- Bachelor in Engineering, or equivalent diploma. MBA would be a must.
- 10+ years’ experience in equivalent field
- Experience presenting to executive management
- Experience with large scale transformation and deployments of new solutions
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Guide and mentor impacted teams & strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with a diversity of customer's teams to address important issues
- Ability to provide project leadership to a large implementation team
