The Aftermarket Operations Program Manager – Engine Clearance & Service Level Management is responsible for end-to-end ownership of engine return-to-service (RTS) performance, service level agreement (SLA) compliance, and customer operational commitments. This role ensures cross-functional coordination across Operations, Spare parts, Quality, Finance, and Customer Support to ensure timely engine clearance, contractual adherence, and global MRO performance

Ensuring service level alignment across the aftermarket as well as establishing and executing on technical improvements and commercial support initiatives. This role requires excellent collaboration, drive and leadership across multi-functional organizations. Includes driving continuous improvement initiatives and provide leadership to overall organization to optimize aftermarket value stream performance.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours in Longueuil, and is exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

Engine Clearance Ownership

  • Own end-to-end engine clearance from induction to release.

  • Lead daily clearance reviews and remove material, technical, or quality blockers.

  • Prioritize engines based on SLA commitments, AOG impact, and revenue exposure.

  • Drive reduction of engine dwell time and backlog.

Material & Supply Chain Resolution

  • Support material recovery plans for shortage-driven engine holds.

  • Support expediting of critical parts and LLPs.

  • Support reducing clearance delays caused by supplier or logistics constraints.

  • Improve forecast alignment through SIOP integration.

Technical & Engineering Coordination

  • Escalate engineering dispositions and repair scheme approvals.

  • Ensure configuration compliance and service bulletin embodiment.

  • Drive resolution of deviation approvals impacting release timelines.

Service Level Management & SLA Performance

  • Own compliance to contractual SLAs (TAT, OTD, AOG response, fill rate).

  • Develop engine and customer-level SLA dashboards.

  • Lead performance reviews and recovery plans for underperformance.

  • Quantify financial exposure related to missed SLAs or performance credits.

  • Reduce working capital tied up in WIP engines.

Customer & Commercial Interface

  • Serve as operational focal point for key customer escalations.

  • Lead or support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

  • Provide proactive engine-level status transparency.

  • Align operational priorities with commercial strategy.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor degree with 6 to 10 years’ experience

  • Field of studies: Administration/Commerce, Aeronautics, Purchasing, Other related field, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management

  • Requires ability to develop strategies and lead initiatives.

  • Strategic influence and change management within the organization.

  • Executive communication skills and influential leadership.

  • Establishes policies, sets goals and objectives for large-scale and complex projects.

  • Identifies and reacts to complex program problems.

  • Communicates objectives and outcomes.

  • Business sense is a key competency in this role

  • Good technical, product knowledge (engines)

  • Occasional business trips

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
