Senior Program Manager - Cross-Systems Integration

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a Senior Program Manager - A220 Cross-Systems Integration to join our A220 Program Development team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will report to the Systems PDT (Product Development Team) Leader.

You will be part of the A220 Program development team within the Systems perimeter, whose objective is to steer all embedded system developments for the A220 aircraft.

The team is organized to promote cross-functional collaboration autonomously, supporting one another and learning collectively.

Your role as a Senior Program Manager - A220 Cross-Systems Integration will be to lead a multidisciplinary team to define and deliver the evolution roadmap for the A220 Program's Avionics systems (both existing and future variants).

Your Challenges

• Define and manage an integrated plan for all system developments during this major A220 upgrade;
• Lead the integration of the various interfaces in your perimeters of multiple systems evolution;
• Lead the implementation of optimization strategies for V&V (Verification & Validation) activities;
• Ensure the definition of development projects across varying levels of complexity;
• Manage integration of budgets and schedules for your perimeters of multiple systems evolution;
• Establish and coordinate adequate governance with key stakeholders to accurately steer your activities;
• Ensure the on-time, on-quality, on-budget delivery of development projects meeting performance specifications;
• Secure the commitment of all stakeholders, particularly suppliers impacted by required modifications in development projects;
• Ensure proper application of Airbus project development processes within an Aircraft program framework;
• Lead the performance monitoring of ongoing development projects, anticipate risks, and define corrective action plans when needed;
• Provide progress indicators and reporting to the Systems PDT Leader and A220 Program Management;
• Manage risks and opportunities during development phases and implement mitigation plans as necessary.

Your Profile

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in project management and embedded systems development is required;
• Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams;
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree, MBA, and/or PMP certification are assets;
• Strong capability in managing project stakeholders and influencing internal project clients;
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural environment;
• Strong knowledge of aircraft embedded systems;
• Bilingual in French and English.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.

This position may involve business travel worldwide.
