Project Manager, A220 Fleet Efficiency

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is looking for a Project Manager (m/f) to join our A220 Customer Service team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work jointly with the entire Customer Service organization to support A220 operators.

You will be part of the Fleet Efficiency team which is responsible for ensuring safe and economical operation of the A220 fleet in service.

Reporting to the Head of Governance and Business Planning of the A220 Fleet Efficiency team, you will contribute to the fundamental mission of the Fleet Efficiency team which consists of ensuring a safe and economical operation of the Airbus A220 fleet in service, while continuously improving customer satisfaction.

As a Project Manager, A220 Fleet Efficiency, you will work on the project management of in-service solutions and the resolution of major in-service issues of the A220 fleet. You will create and manage the schedules of various projects impacting the fleet.

Your challenges:

• Set up and monitor schedule definition processes to ensure that A220 Customer Services projects are successfully achieved;

• Create a strong link with A220 Customer Services business units (BUs) to gain a deep understanding of department priorities;

• Assist the program support team in project management of in-service aircraft issues, in particular coordinating internal and external activities between different A220 Customer Services BUs;

• Manage projects under your supervision based on project management best practices (including LBIP), notably by setting up the required planning and ensuring its monitoring while managing interdependencies within your project and with others;

• Be responsible for the use of project management software tools (Planisware) and techniques to create, maintain/update and control project schedules;

• Monitor project progress, update schedules as necessary and communicate with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track;

• Ensure project schedule control by helping the project team manage changes made to the project schedule, including baseline change control;

• Set up the necessary dashboard to track project deliverables progress and any other related indicators;

• Plan the right resources at the right time in the project while taking into account the operational reality of deliverables;

• Optimize project efficiency, resource allocation and overall project success;

• Implement and maintain required cost tracking for projects under your responsibility;

• Collaborate in financial exercises and perform necessary follow-ups;

Your profile:

• Education and Experience: Holder of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aeronautical Engineering, Project Management) or equivalent experience, you have at least 5 years of experience in program management or project leadership in a technical or aeronautical environment;

• Technical Expertise: You master planning tools (MS Project, Planisware) and project management methodologies, including the Agile approach (PMP certification is an asset);

• Leadership and Autonomy: Recognized for your proactivity and rigor, you possess a high level of commitment and a strong sense of responsibility, while caring about sharing your expertise with your colleagues;

• Communication and Influence: Endowed with excellent interpersonal skills, you know how to influence stakeholders at all levels and maintain a commitment to professional integrity and customer orientation;

• Major Asset: Experience at Airbus (A220 program) or deep expertise in customer service and fleet efficiency is strongly valued.
