Industrialization Project Manager

You have experience in project management and manufacturing engineering, you have worked in industrialization and you want to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an Industrialization Project Manager to join our Pre-FAL Industrialization team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work within the Operational Excellence team.

You will be part of the Pre-FAL Industrialization team responsible for supporting ramp-ups and reducing Pre-FAL Mirabel costs. You will thus contribute to achieving Airbus Canada's priority objectives and will be surrounded by passionate and experienced people.

Your role as an Industrialization project manager will be to contribute to defining the A220 industrial strategy, deploying improvement projects identified as critical, and supporting product development activities to identify and limit their impact on the manufacturing plan.

Your challenges:

• Define the evolution of our assembly lines and identify critical paths to optimize in order to meet planned ramp-ups;

• Act as project manager in the execution of industrial transformations.

• Define the implementation strategy: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communication and training;

• Plan activities and coordinate the work of the resources involved, act as an interface between the various stakeholders, manage customer expectations as well as change requests;

• Manage budgets and expenses;

• Prepare and present progress reports to the management committee.

• Develop a broader understanding of the risks and opportunities for the company related to proposed industrial changes;

• Contribute to the development of "business cases", whether related to technical or non-technical projects;

• Act as a change leader;

• Plan, organize and lead multifunctional workshops related to establishing and maintaining the best assembly strategy.

Requirements

Your profile:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or operations management (or you have equivalent experience);

• You have at least 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and in the implementation of industrial projects;

• You have a good command of the concept of critical paths;

• You demonstrate project management skills;

• You demonstrate a high level of leadership and diplomacy;

• You are autonomous, organized and know how to set your priorities;

• You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, in French and English;

• You are able to evolve in an environment regularly subject to changes

• You are proactive in defining your own objectives.
