Industrialization Project Manager

You have experience in project management and manufacturing engineering, you have worked in industrialization and you want to grow and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for an Industrialization Project Manager to join our Pre-FAL Industrialization team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work within the Operational Excellence team.

You will be part of the Pre-FAL Industrialization team responsible for supporting ramp-ups and reducing costs for Pre-FAL Mirabel. You will thus contribute to achieving Airbus Canada's priority objectives and will be surrounded by passionate and experienced individuals.

Your role as Industrialization Project Manager will be to contribute to defining the A220 industrial strategy, deploying improvement projects identified as critical, and supporting product development activities to identify and limit their impact on the manufacturing plan.

Your challenges:

• Define the evolution of our assembly lines and identify critical paths to optimize in order to meet planned ramp-ups;

• Act as project manager in the execution of industrial transformations.

• Define the execution strategy: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communication, and training;

• Plan activities and coordinate the work of involved resources, act as an interface between different stakeholders, manage client expectations, and change requests;

• Manage budgets and expenses;

• Prepare and present progress reports to the management committee.

• Develop a broader understanding of the risks and opportunities for the company related to proposed industrial changes;

• Contribute to the development of business cases, whether related to technical or non-technical projects;

• Act as a change leader;

• Plan, organize, and facilitate multifunctional workshops related to establishing and maintaining the best assembly strategy.

Requirements

Your profile:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or operations management (or you have equivalent experience);

• You have at least 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and in implementing industrial projects;

• You have a good command of the critical path concept;

• You demonstrate project management skills;

• You demonstrate a high level of leadership and diplomacy;

• You are autonomous, organized, and know how to prioritize;

• You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, in French and English;

• You are able to evolve in an environment regularly subject to changes

• You are proactive in defining your own objectives.
