Project manager Industrialisation Senior

You have experience in the aeronautical manufacturing field, you have worked on complex program launches in the development phase and you want to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a project manager (m/f) to join the industrial development team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

As part of their mission, the project manager must guarantee that industrial aspects are taken into account in the definition of the aircraft and drive the design of the industrial system in synchronization with that of the aircraft, in order to increase maturity from the very first development phases.

Your challenges:

• Define and implement a world-class industrial system for all phases of the A220 product development (from concept studies to series production), all in collaboration with the Industrial Architect;
• Issue recommendations regarding its characteristics and sizing (product/material/people flow, number of stations, station design, lead times, layout, buffer zones/cycles, etc.);
• Develop and deploy industrial simulation models;
• Define industrial requirements for the product, processes, technologies, industrial means and assets;
• Contribute to enriching the body of knowledge linked to the development of the industrial system of the A220 program.

Your profile:

• You hold an engineering degree or a technical diploma in the aeronautics field;
• You have more than 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and have experience in a FAL environment.
• You are a specialist in aeronautical infrastructure design.
• You are a specialist in industrial engineering elements (layout, flow, VSM, industrial system sizing, VA/NVA analysis, capacity analysis, Lean Line Design, etc.)
• You demonstrate a high level of leadership and show diplomacy and resilience;
• You have proven coaching/training, leadership, and assertiveness skills to influence and challenge the status quo;
• You are capable of working with senior management as well as with working teams and keeping them engaged;
• You are autonomous, organized and know how to set your priorities;
• You demonstrate project management skills;
• You are an excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, in French and in English;
• You are able to evolve in an environment regularly subject to changes and under high pressure;
• You are proactive in defining your own objectives;
