The P&WC Customer Service team is currently seeking a Transformation Project Manager, MRO Strategy to support the implementation of the global Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization’s strategy. This role is critical to ensuring the organization meets its growth objectives while optimizing costs and enhancing both customer and employee experience.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours, based in Longueuil and performed entirely on site.

Job description

The Transformation Project Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's performance and driving innovation. Reporting to the Senior Director, this position offers a unique opportunity to lead and implement initiatives that support the company's growth and success.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Define, Lead and implement high-impact transformation projects within our MRO global footprint to improve overall business performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams extending beyond MRO, working on the implementation and optimization of various processes related to tariffs.

  • Lead the implementation and adoption of new digital and/or manufacturing technologies while ensuring timely completion, stakeholder engagement, and desired outcomes.

  • Oversee the execution of strategic continuous improvement initiatives within the organization, managing all aspects from idea generation to project execution while leveraging change management tools and best practices.

  • Work closely with various customer service teams across the organization to align the deployment of common strategies.

What you need to be successful:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on project execution and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrate a high level of curiosity to identify and create new opportunities in untapped areas.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects, from inception to completion.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation, new technologies, and industry best practices in Aerospace and MRO, in a manufacturing environment.

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Aeronautical Maintenance, Operations Management, Project Management

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
