Reporting to the Industrialization Director, the incumbent will act as a resource person to manage new product development while ensuring safety, costs, deadlines, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

  • Be the privileged interlocutor with the client;
  • Maintain a close relationship with the client to ensure their satisfaction regarding project progress;
  • Participate in the development of the project schedule;
  • Conduct PO reviews (Initial PO review and ramp-up POs);
  • Coordinate project and technical risk analyses;
  • Monitor costs according to the budget allocated to the contract;
  • Internally coordinate the implementation of potential changes;
  • Plan and lead weekly project team meetings and follow up on actions identified during previous meetings;
  • Ensure proper provisioning of all project needs (materials, products, equipment, cutting tools, purchased parts, etc.);
  • Analyze factory load/capacity relative to project needs and take appropriate action;
  • Prepare recurring progress reports on project milestones;
  • Drive the resolution of problematic situations;
  • Ensure part progression in the factory with all involved departments;
  • Coordinate efforts of all departments during client visits;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project performance;
  • Ensure a positive company image is projected to the client;
  • Create and update daily client part tracking charts (LOB);
  • Conduct tasks in compliance with the company vision, doctrine, and code of ethics;
  • Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;

Your Profile:

  • Hold a university degree in engineering;
  • Project management aptitude, good planning sense, and sense of priorities (sense of urgency);
  • PMP certification (an asset);
  • Strong problem-solving, financial analysis, customer service, and decision-making skills;
  • Strong skills in driving projects forward;
  • Fluency in spoken and written French and English for customer communication;
  • In-depth knowledge of the MS Office suite, including MS Project;
  • Ability to work under pressure while respecting tight deadlines;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Flexible, personable, and good interpersonal skills;
  • Good judgment, adaptability, and a quick mind;
  • Flexibility needed to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and respect sometimes conflicting deadlines;
