What You Will Do

As a project manager, you will work across the organization to identify and drive projects that create sustained cost reductions and improve profit levels for customer engine maintenance contracts.

Key activities include:

  • Working with program experts to identify project ideas, including technical and financial evaluations.
  • Prioritizing each project across the portfolio.
  • Collaborating with key supporting groups to achieve project objectives.

What You Will Learn

In this role you will learn concepts of engine and aircraft operation and maintenance, engine and component reliability and durability, application of engineering and commercial principles that impact cost of maintenance, and management of projects of varying complexity across a dynamic international organization.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, industrial, or similar)
  • 10+ years of experience in similar industry
  • This position is based in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a very good command of English to read and understand documentation and technical terms that may originate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with international clients, suppliers, and colleagues.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • PMP designation and/or relevant experience delivering projects
  • Direct experience in aerospace, especially gas turbine engine maintenance
  • Experience making data-driven decisions by seeking out context and evaluating consequences in elaborate business models
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Comfortable in navigating ambiguity and influencing without formal authority
  • Skilled at building trusting relationships at all levels of the organization
