This is a full-time, on-site position based in Saint-Hubert, Monday through Friday.
What will your day-to-day look like?
As an influential leader, you provide people-centric change management to mobilize teams and anchor a culture of continuous improvement. You lead LEAN workshops and analyze performance indicators to eliminate waste and maximize productivity. You act as a key partner to the production director, translating strategic directions into concrete action plans.
Change Management and Mobilization
- Support teams in adopting new practices and tools.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Continuous Improvement Steering
- Identify, prioritize, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives (safety, quality, cost, delivery).
- Facilitate LEAN workshops (Kaizen, VSM, problem-solving) and ensure the concrete implementation of solutions.
- Measure and track generated gains (productivity, waste reduction, flow improvement).
Cross-Functional Project Management
- Drive structural projects involving multiple departments (production, quality, logistics, maintenance).
- Ensure coordination between teams to break down organizational silos.
- Monitor progress, manage risks, and guarantee the achievement of results.
Collaboration with the Data Team
- Identify the data required by operational teams.
- Bridge the gap between data analysts, business processes, and operational dashboards.
Performance Analysis and Decision Making
- Analyze operational data to identify performance gaps and their root causes.
- Develop and track relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to support decision-making.
- Formulate concrete recommendations based on facts and rigorous analysis.
Contribution to Operational Strategy
- Collaborate with the production director to translate strategic directions into concrete action plans.
- Participate in defining and deploying the operational excellence roadmap.
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Adaptability to dynamic and complex environments, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
- Critical thinking and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of P&WC engines, engine components, and the aftermarket industry (asset).
- Knowledge of SAP and Power BI (asset).
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Although this position is within a French-speaking work environment, it requires a strong command of English to read and understand technical documentation and terminology from international organizations on a daily basis, as well as to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues worldwide.
