What are your contributions to the team?
- Manage a team of professionals in R&T program management.
- Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring and training, to enable employees to reach their goals.
- Delegate and organize resources to meet the company1s objective in R&T
- Lead manpower planning activities and budget preparation.
- Support senior management and technical leaders to align on research strategies, priorities and decisions.
- Manage communication and visibility reports for the various levels of the organization on risk mitigation, execution, resource allocation and budget
- Communicate effectively and favor efficient open communication.
- Coordinate the efforts of Bombardier's support functions - Legal Services, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Communications \u2013 to carry out your team1s mandates.
- Support the continuous improvement of your team1s mandates
How to thrive in this role?
- You have a bachelor1s degree in engineering.
- You have more than 15 years of relevant experience in aeronautics engineering, including 3 as a team leader.
- You have strong knowledge of R&T management practices.
- You have strong experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the aeronautics industry, and strong knowledge of early aircraft development phases
- You can manage multiple concurrent projects and activities
- You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork and support knowledge sharing at all levels.
- You are autonomous, result-driven, and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience.
- You are able to represent Bombardier with industry, academia, and partner organizations.
- You are fluent in French and English
