What will your day-to-day look like?
The Senior Manager, Digital Technical Finance Team supports the business in deploying and upgrading SAP solutions by guiding project teams and ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team responsible for translating business requirements into functional design documents for DT Finance-related projects
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to direct reports
- Analyze current ("as-is") and future ("to-be") processes, bridging gaps between digital technologies and business needs
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for projects involving FICO solutions
- Design FICO solution components and develop the corresponding SAP configuration transports
- Act as a subject-matter expert, anticipating trends and recommending best practices
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and other platforms
- Manage project schedules, prioritize resources, and support successful implementation
- Demonstrate strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and integration points in a multi-company, multi-currency, and multi-country environment
- Develop strategies to rapidly translate business requirements into effective technology solutions
- Facilitate functional and technical problem-solving
- Contribute to defining functional requirements for system maintenance and enhancements to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with the DT compliance team to address audit requests and implement corrective actions
- Maintain strong working relationships with process owners, technical teams, functional teams, and business partners
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, along with 10+ years of relevant experience
- OR a graduate degree combined with 5+ years in a similar capacity
- Extensive exposure to SAP environments, including hands-on work with FI (AP, AR, GL, Assets) and integration with key modules such as MM, SD, PP, HR, CO, and PS
- Proven proficiency in configuring and implementing SAP FI, CO, and PS, supported by SAP certification (FI, CO, or PS)
- Track record of leading or contributing as a subject-matter expert to multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations
- Strong understanding of business processes in manufacturing and service industries
- Solid background in project management related to enterprise technology or infrastructure systems
- Ability to analyze complex business and system issues and develop effective solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines
- Bilingual in French and English (oral and written)
- Familiarity with SAP standard tables, transaction codes, configuration, and enhancement concepts
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
This position has been designated as onsite, with regular in person work at our Longueuil, QC location.
