By joining the Helicopter program team, you will be based in Longueuil and report to the Customer Engineering Manager of Helicopter programs. Our mission is to engage, empower, and inspire our team to deliver a superior Employee and Customer Experience, to develop innovative solutions, and to drive value into products and services for all of our markets. The incumbent is responsible to manage strategic customer accounts and related engine program updates. You will also lead field investigations and coordinate technical and logistical support to drive a prompt return to service.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Lead Helicopter Programs customer engineering activities from start to successful resolution;
  • Support event troubleshooting and assist logistics as required;
  • Interface with Field Service Representatives, Customer First Centre (Technical Help Desk) and operators through regular field event reviews;
  • Ensure event resolution and provide follow-up through IPTs (define), reliability monitoring, technical publication changes, campaigns or other corrective action;
  • Lead support for field escape containment and special inspection programs;
  • Provide support for field escape containment and special inspection programs;
  • Support OEMs with key program projects and initiatives;
  • Manage program updates, reliability, TCM, TCCA, PMT packages, operator conferences;
  • Represent the customer's voice during internal meetings;
  • Support maintenance/overhaul cost initiatives (DMC model, overhaul cost variance, etc.) and identify cost reduction opportunities.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor degree with 10 years' experience or Master degree with 7 years' experience;
  • Field of studies: Aeronautics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
  • Strong project management and communication skills;
  • Solid computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, etc.);
  • Occasional business trips;
  • Fluent communication skills in English both spoken and written;
  • Strong commercial & technical skills and able to define value proposition to customers;
  • Customer focused and proven customer relationship management skills;
  • Team player;
  • Flexible, motivated and self-driven.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
