As the leader of the organization, the Manager, Supply Management and Logistics, MSL is responsible for the supply of spare parts, the management of the suppliers, the inventory as well as the planning of the operations of Saint-Hubert’s plant. The MSL ensures the smooth running of daily activities, in particular those ensuring compliance with standards and processes, production and operational efficiency, product quality, compliance activities as well as compliance with cost and operational budget.

The position is based at our St-Hubert location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Responsible for the material procurement and management of repair suppliers team at the Saint-Hubert plant.
  • Lead strategic initiatives for the supply of spare materials;
  • Establish solid and trusting relationships with our various internal and external partners;
  • Monitor supplier performance by using relevant KPIs and define required improvement strategies;
  • Implement best practices in performance management and professional development of team members, in particular by acting as a coach and mentor;
  • Work in collaboration with operations in the development of delivery objectives;
  • Ensure alignment of priorities and their communication across the various entities;
  • Collaborate with other functional organizations to develop solutions and ensure that supplier performance meets the needs of the plant organization;
  • Provide a world-class employee experience;

  • Understand the context of our customers to personalize our offer;
  • Provide the highest value, highest quality, on-time repair and overhaul services and solutions;
  • Make health and safety a priority in everything we do and protect the environment in which we operate;
  • Ensure commitment to compliance - Ethics, SOX, EH&S, ITC and Quality;
  • Achieve targeted business plans on sales, EBIT, ROS, inventory turnover and cash flow;
  • Monitor and manage inventory to reduce financial exposure, support working capital efficiency, and identify redistribution or utilization opportunities across the P&WC network;
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on operational efficiency, process standardization, and performance optimization across the MRO facility, leveraging Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies;
  • Contribute to the development of a strategic vision for the department (1–5 years);
  • Achieve ambitious goals to capitalize on growth opportunities;
  • Promote innovation and industrialize new technologies;
  • Drive operational excellence and production efficiency through continuous improvement.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply or business management with more than 5 years of management experience; MBA or other advanced management degree preferred
  • Experience in a leadership role and ability to be promoted through demonstrated performance and proven ability
  • Demonstrated success in supply management, with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to lead projects in the following areas impacting operations: IT, Artificial Intelligence, HR, Quality, etc.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean transformation principles and an understanding of turbine engine assembly, testing and machining processes are assets.
