The Digital Engine Services team (DES) is dedicated to providing end-to-end solutions to improve aircraft reliability while reducing operating costs. Today R s flight monitoring systems are designed to automatically record critical flight parameters and provide visibility to events or exceedances. This helps the operator to make informed decisions about preventive maintenance, thereby reducing unscheduled maintenance, lowering operating costs, and increasing aircraft availability. DES R s advanced diagnostic solutions provide true value-added benefits that enable the operator to determine the best time to undertake maintenance on the engine and airframe.

As a Digital Strategy Senior Manager, you will report to the Associate Director, Digital Strategy & Transformation Programs, and lead the development and execution of the digital strategy for the Digital Engine Services (DES) portfolio. You will drive initiatives that enhance customer experience, improve operational efficiency and accelerate business growth through digital technologies.

In this role, you will collaborate with executive leadership, sales, digital technology, and engineering teams to define the digital vision, identify innovation opportunities and ensure the successful delivery of digital transformation initiatives across the DES portfolio.

This is a full-time position from Monday to Friday with flexible hours, based in Longueuil QC or Mississauga ON, and performed exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Develop and execute digital strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across DES digital portfolio.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize digital investments and strategic initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver digital products and/or platforms
  • Define digital roadmaps, business cases, KPIs, and success metrics to measure business value
  • Collaborate with Digital technology (DT), product management, DES engineering, and data teams to implement robust data governance, system integration and innovative digital solutions that enhance DES capabilities
  • Monitor digital performance and recommend continuous improvements
  • Present strategic recommendations and progress updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks associated with digital initiatives. Raise change requests and/or find feasible solutions to ensure that best practices and processes are followed throughout digital transformation

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, or another STEM fields
  • 10+ years of professional experience in digital strategy, management consulting, digital transformation, or business strategy
  • Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, IoT, cloud platforms, AI, analytics and data engineering
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues

Required Skills:

  • Strong oral and written English communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and execute digital strategies on an enterprise level
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Extensive knowledge of digital technologies and ecosystems
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, including Power BI for data visualization and performance reporting
  • Experience with Agile development standards and use of Azure DevOps and Confluence collaboration tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience using data and insights to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives, prioritize competing demands, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
