What will your day-to-day look like?

The Senior Manager, Product Data Operation is responsible for defining, governing, and executing product data strategy across the Pratt & Whitney Canada Aftermarket lifecycle. This role ensures the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of product data used to support MRO, customer support, digital services, and financial processes and many more.

The position leads a global team of offshore data stewards responsible for identifying, investigating, and resolving product data discrepancies across multiple internal and external data sources. The role serves as the primary owner of Product Data quality for the aftermarket organization.

  • Accountable for overall performance of Product Data, ensuring SLAs, data quality KPIs, and business expectations are met
  • Define Product Data standards, quality rules, and reference structures, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency across ERP, MRO, CRM, and downstream systems
  • Monitor and hold data providers accountable, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring and systemic data issues
  • Lead structured investigations into product data discrepancies originating from multiple sources, resolving complex issues that impact aftermarket execution, customer commitments, and financial accuracy
  • Ensure full traceability, documentation, and governance of all product master data changes, keeping data audit-ready and compliant with contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Coach offshore managers for Product Data to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Work closely with the Transformation Manager to continuously improve and refine the operating model of the team as numerous digital transformations will impact certain roles
  • Foster a strong data ownership culture by defining clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations, while driving continuous improvement across the team
  • Serve as the senior point of accountability for Product Data within the aftermarket organization, partnering closely with MRO Operations, Finance, Customer Support, Engineering, and IT to ensure trusted and reliable product data

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or data quality roles within manufacturing or regulated environments
  • Strong experience managing serialized product data across ERP, MRO, and CRM systems
  • Proven ability to lead offshore teams
  • Experience in operating model transformation resulting from digital transformation
  • Proven ability to drive enterprise-scale data quality improvements
  • Experience in aerospace engine aftermarket, MRO, or fleet product management
  • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, MDM platforms, and data quality tooling
  • Experience with data lake and warehouse solutions, driving scalable pipelines and data strategy
  • Experience supporting audits, regulatory compliance, and customer data obligations
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment; it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand documentation and technical terms on a daily basis and to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues
