We are looking for a Manager, Supply Strategy, Risk and Supplier Management, risk and contract management to join our team!

Position Objective

The Manager, Supply Strategy, Risk and Supplier Management is responsible for leading a team tasked with ensuring the efficient and smooth execution of supply, purchasing and supply planning strategies. This role focuses on supplier relationship management, compliance with contractual obligations, cost management, strategic sourcing and optimization initiatives, as well as integrating value chain strategy with market realities and other sectors of the organization.

The ideal person is a strong, results-driven leader with expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier performance management. They excel in managing cross-functional teams, improving supplier performance and optimizing supply chain processes.

Here are the daily responsibilities of the Manager, Supply Strategy, Risk and Supplier Management:

• Manage and mentor a team of procurement and supplier performance agents and specialists, specifically regarding attendance, productivity, performance and priority management.
• Provide coaching, training and performance management to foster individual and collective success.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and clear objectives to measure team performance and operational excellence.
• Act as an escalation point for complex issues related to suppliers or operations.
• Contribute to the company's financial success and customer satisfaction by supporting operational value chain teams regarding supplier performance and compliance with contractual commitments.
• Ensure supplier performance, compliance with quality requirements and contractual compliance for the value chain.
• Drive supplier development initiatives, including turnaround plans and performance recovery strategies.
• Oversee the entire procurement process, including:
  • Definition of new sources of supply, including the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and its results, as well as "Make or Buy" analyses.
  • Management of existing contracts, including commercial communications.
  • Development of contract negotiation strategies and management of contract modifications, including price conditions, minimum order quantities (MOQ) and lead times.
  • Management of the claims process, including recovery, negotiation and contract modifications.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, supplier agreements, regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Track and present key indicators related to procurement and logistics, including cost savings, supplier performance and operational bottlenecks.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and contract management processes.
• Support the development of supplier scorecards, product category strategies and performance reports for senior management.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication between internal value chain teams.
• Align sourcing strategies with medium-term organizational plans and cost-reduction initiatives.

Here is what you need to succeed:

• 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management or sourcing-related activities.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in leadership and team management, supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and logistical coordination.
• Mastery of SAP S/4HANA (Procure-to-Pay), supplier portals and data analytics tools.
• Mastery of the Microsoft suite (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and stakeholder management skills.
• Results-driven and goal-oriented approach.
• Ability to balance strategic priorities and operational execution.
