The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Systems Engineering Technical leader (SETL) for New Developments to join our Chief Engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada).
You will be part of the Portfolio administration and Business operations team, and play a key role in developing the capabilities for A220 future developments, acting in strong collaboration with the Engineering teams in Mirabel and the Aircraft architecture and integration team in Toulouse.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Systems Engineering Technical leader will be to:
- Ensure the deployment of a robust Requirement Management process on the A220 program;
- Ensure an integrated approach from overall aircraft level to component / sub-component levels while ensuring consistency across components;
- Define the framework and steer the deployment of a Validation & Verification (V&V) strategy for A220 New developments.

Your challenges:
- Lead the strategic initiative of Requirement Management and V&V deployment for A220 New developments;
- Ensure the coordination of X-functional activities across A220 stakeholders (Chief Eng., Engineering, Industrial, Services, etc.);
- Formalize the New developments SE Strategy, SE Plan, SE Management Plan in consistency with PDP;
- Ensure availability of SE deliverables to meet the New developments milestones;
- Confirm the A220 Requirements Data Breakdown Structure (RDBS) from aircraft level down to components/sub-components levels;
- Ensure a robust base of technical requirements is available for A220 New developments;
- Determine the critical areas where and why specific V&V efforts should be applied based on project risks and priorities;
- Ensure requirements migration into the new tool for Requirements management: DOORS;
- Report on a regular basis and during program reviews on progress towards plan expectations.
Your profile:
- Engineering degree;
- More than 12 years experience in product development environment and project management;
- Experience of application of MBSE, requirements management and ARP4754 implementation on at least one development;
- Strong organizational, influence and presentation skills, and capability to drive activities in multidisciplinary teams;
- Understanding of business concepts including product value and cost control;
- Bilingual professional with advanced negotiation skills in English and fluency level in French.
