Within Airbus Canada, you will have a direct and positive impact on airlines maintenance & operational reliability thanks to your component reliability analysis, engineering technical drive and recommendations, while generating value and profitability to Airbus.
As FHS-C Component Performance Engineer & Technical Leader within ABSIY, and being part of our 1SYRC international team, you will be in charge of
- a set of airlines to deliver FHS Engineering services with direct customer facing
- Deputy of the A220 FHS-Engineering Program Leader
- and in charge of specific A220 & transverse technical topics for the entire organisation.
Core Responsibilities
- Influence A220 ecosystem in Canada to improve the reliability of A220 components: liaise with the A220 Airbus Program, challenge the A220 suppliers to improve the reliability of A220 FHS parts and to find technical workarounds. This includes attendance to the In-Service boards and associated governance to raise the voice of FHS as well as to perform ad-hoc analysis to support proper arbitration whenever necessary.
- Responsible for FHS-C Engineering scope & deliverables for a set of deals in America on A320 & worldwide A220 with direct A/L facing - drive their customers satisfaction.
- Anticipate and forecast any reliability trends and define impact on FHS business & A/L operations with associated recommendations & solutions by using our set of short/mid or long term levers (GMTBUR claims, repair price/workscope challenge, retrofit decisions & prioritization, SISP/MISP opening, ...)
- Primary interface with A220 ecosystem in Canada and 1SY in Canada. Be the voice of the FHS in Airbus Canada for the A220 and the legacy.
- 1SYR representative for NOVA project.
- Lead improvement projects and technical topics requiring significant airline engineering expertise, component engineering expertise and business knowledge.
- Ensure consistent & efficient way of workings with entire 1SYR organisation with a specific focus on process maturity, standardization, automation & efficiency.
- Contribute to FHS business profitability and performance.

Your profile
- Experience in System Engineering, Customer Services - multi ATA & A220 & A320 programs.
- Experience in FHS-C/PbH, component reliability activities, airline maintenance operations / MRO.
- Good Stakeholder management: proven ability to connect, influence and drive projects across a complex eco-system.
- Experimented in Project Management with a proven ability to drive business transformation and deliver efficiency gains in an international context.
- Proven experience in Skywise Contour and Slate computing.

- Excellent direct customer-facing communication skills.
- Autonomous, proactive, simplicity and able to quickly adapt to constantly changing priorities.

- This role will involve some travels anywhere throughout the world to deliver technical review meetings to our airline customers.

- To be fluent both in English and French (spoken and written) is required.
