Aeronautical Engineer Structural Design

In your duties, you will be called upon to:

• Interact closely with Technology, Stress, Systems, Manufacturing, Testing and structural suppliers;

• Produce change documentation in the form of 3D models, 2D drawings, reports, presentations, lists, etc.;

• Directly support other engineering and operations departments

• Support design and program evaluation with partners and suppliers;

• Monitor project evolution transversally and ensure deadlines are met by producing quality engineering deliverables at the required time.

• Apply knowledge to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, using a combination of judgment with proactively defined practices and procedures.

As the ideal candidate,

• You have an official Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with 0 to 10 years of relevant experience in aeronautics or a related industry,

• You have knowledge of the following: structures and system installation, design for assembly, design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly), standards and industrial drawing.

• You have an interest in aspects related to transversal project management (planning, cost, monitoring, visibility, risk, etc.)

• You have knowledge of CATIA/ENOVIA V5, Google Suite or MS Office, Python,

• You are a curious, energetic person with excellent communication skills and interpersonal qualities that will allow you to achieve desired results in a high-pressure work environment.

• A strong sense of commitment, willingness to assume responsibilities, autonomy within a team, focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to work in collaboration with partners and suppliers are assets.

• Bilingualism in French and English (written and spoken) is an asset.
