Job description

Your challenges:

• Perform damage tolerance analyses on principal structural elements (PSE)
• Provide recommendations on aircraft structure design and repair concepts
• Develop fatigue spectra
• Perform damage tolerance analysis validations with experimental results
• Support maintenance manual development in collaboration with technical publications and maintenance engineering groups
• Collaborate with suppliers, ensure compliance with program methodology and technical requirements
• Review supplier reports and analyses
• Prepare certification reports

Your profile:

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
• You possess at least five (5) years of experience in stress analysis of metallic aircraft structures, primarily as a specialist in fatigue and airframe damage tolerance
• Knowledge of software such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, NASGRO, CATIA V5, MS Office, and Google Suite is mandatory
• Prior experience working on an aircraft development or in-service support program, including certification, would be an asset
• Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques would be an asset
• You have a strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and are a team player
• You have good communication skills
• You must be able to read and communicate in French and English
