Why Join Build Engineering-Analysts Team?
The Build-Analyst Engineering group within the Engineering Development organization is responsible for integrating engineering requirements related to the assembly and disassembly of experimental engines.
Reporting to the manager of the Build-Analyst Engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating engine assembly and disassembly activities carried out in the Assembly & Test environment and will have the opportunity to combine office work with technical support on the shop floor.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Manages assembly and disassembly activities in collaboration with assemblers
- Integrate engineering requirement into the engine configuration
- Work collaboratively with various modules and support groups
- Ensures the availability of parts and tools for execution without delay
- Supports production readiness activities
- Coordinates the measurement of various engine parts
- Write a report at the end of the activities
- Participates in the department's continuous improvement activities
- Occasional shifts rotation (day and evening)
- Possibility of occasional overtime work during the week and/or the weekend
What do you need to be successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 5 years of experience or;
- DEC in aeronautics with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the assembly and/or testing of gas turbines
- Able to manage several tasks at the same time
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude
- This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
