Manufacturing Engineer (Engine Lines)

An attractive opportunity is currently available at Rolls-Royce Canada for a Manufacturing Engineer.

Working in a High Performance Culture environment, the main responsibilities of this role are to ensure the technical standard of civil aerospace products while optimizing processes supporting operations, developing technical solutions by working closely with the manufacturer, and coordinating/delivering all other engineering-related activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Optimize operating costs through technical specification control

• Contribute to minimizing non-quality costs by using defect and failure analysis methods and root cause problem solving.

• Find solutions related to specific engine problems, including decision making on non-conforming hardware to meet customer expectations.

• Investigate engines that do not meet expected performance without exceeding engine limitations

• Develop engine maintenance programs through the development of technical specifications and the optimization of life-cycle costs for products.

Essential Criteria:

• Associate Degree and 4+ years mechanical engineering experience OR

• Bachelor Degree and 2+ years mechanical engineering experience OR

• Master in Mechanical Engineering OR

• Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada

Desirable Criteria:

• Eligible or member of l'Ordre des Ingenieurs du Quebec.

• Eligible for the CAMAQ program

• High level of autonomy
