Parlons de votre future mission
Within the Design Offices Division of the Technical Directorate, you will join the High-Pressure Compressor (civil & military) and Military Low-Pressure Compressor service, which ensures the design and integration of compressors in development and in service.
Reporting to the compressor integration unit manager, you will act as a mechanical & kinematic integration engineer on civil engines in development and in service, as well as R&T test machines.
As such, your main mission will be to carry out and lead complex mechanical studies to validate the performance and behavior of a part, the compressor module or one of its sub-systems. This involves various activities:
- Lead and carry out mechanical pre-dimensioning, dimensioning or optimization studies on parts (load resistance, lifespan calculation, etc.) or on compressor modules (flexibility calculation, retention, etc.),
- Participate in technological choices (via the creation of scorecards, for example),
- Manage external intellectual services (specifications, calls for tenders, technical monitoring, etc.),
- Produce technical summaries or presentations during validation reviews with experts and/or technical auditors,
- Act as an interface between the various design offices concerned (aerodynamicists, thermal engineers, designers, test sector, engine performance, etc.) and internal clients (Project, Assembly, After-sales, etc.).
- Support the continuous improvement process: be proactive in suggesting improvements to team operations and in relations with external departments, capitalize on innovations (patents) and evolve mechanical methodologies.
But still? (advantages, specificities, …)
You are ready to join our Villaroche site, in Réau (77), near Paris, easily accessible by car via the A5/N104 or by Safran shuttles.
