YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 🎯

  • Perform the design and development of parts or assemblies according to customer requirements and applicable customer and industry standards;
  • Modify or create 3D models of parts or assemblies;
  • Develop and interpret engineering drawings, technical plans, and specifications for various parts and assemblies;
  • Revise and incorporate changes into technical drawings;
  • Standardize 3D models and drawings in accordance with customer and industry standards;
  • Analyze engineering change requests;
  • Research technical specifications and documentation when not provided by the customer;
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical issues;
  • Provide technical support to Production and Engineering teams;
  • Develop and write quality procedures;
  • Review assembly work instructions and build books;
  • Conduct research and development activities;
  • Share technical knowledge with team members;
  • Assist with proposal preparation and quotations;
  • Support workload planning activities;
  • Understand the requirements of the AS9100 standard as they relate to the responsibilities of this position;
  • Comply with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and apply the appropriate tools when performing assigned tasks.

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience;
  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Aircraft Manufacturing, Aerospace Technology, or Mechanical Engineering;
  • Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry is considered an asset;
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint);
  • Knowledge of First Article Inspection (FAI) processes;
  • Proficiency with design and 3D modeling software, including CATIA V5 and 3DVia;
  • Experience with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP and Baan;
  • Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or CorelDRAW is considered an asset;
  • Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, SmarTeam, Enovia, and MBOM is considered an asset;
  • Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken
