About the role

The successful candidate will contribute to our key projects as a member of the Vector Product Integration and Test team:

• They will support functional verification testing of combat system software
• They will support integration verification testing of the combat system software subsystem
• They will support regression testing of combat system software.

This work requires the candidate to perform manual and automated testing in an Agile development environment. To do this, the candidate must draw on both skills and experience, including computer programming, problem-solving, effective communication, and analysis. You will work in a Linux environment and use multiple programming languages, including Python, BASH, Java, and C++. Knowledge of combat management system software and mission systems is considered an asset.

As a member of an Agile team, your main tasks will include the following:

• Develop, execute, and maintain functional tests to verify user stories and software requirements
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests as part of continuous regression testing
• Document test results in the Agile project management system and the test management system
• Identify, evaluate, document, and re-test defects, to contribute to overall quality improvement.

What you bring to the position

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in computer science or a related engineering discipline
• 2 to 4 years of professional experience
• Be willing to work according to the team's schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Ability to solve difficult problems within a team
• Demonstrate a high degree of initiative and autonomy
• Be able to obtain a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)
