The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Work in collaboration with the production teams and the manufacturing managers in an office and shop environment.

  • Perform capacity analysis for the various production lines.

  • Lead the action plans to align the capacity with the manufacturing demand.

  • Manage the implementation of capital and continuous improvement projects.

  • Plan shop layout modifications related to the installation or movement of equipment.

  • Develop strategic plans including core business definition and introduction of new machining and automation technologies aligned with Industry 4.0 fundamentals.

  • Analyze production problems and opportunities and propose solutions supporting business needs and vision.

What do you need to be successful?

  • Bachelor of engineering with 5 years or more of experience in project management.

  • Experience in a manufacturing company.

  • Demonstrated strategic planning and leadership.

  • Strong communication and networking skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bilingual English/French (oral and written).

  • Knowledge and skills of computer tools related to the task: Microsoft Office, Visio and MS-Project.

  • Knowledge of SAP (asset).

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms, as well as to write and sometimes communicate with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
