As a project engineer, you will be responsible for technical coordination and monitoring of engineering activities within a start-up unit framework. You will ensure liaison between the project and technical teams while ensuring compliance with requirements, schedules, and deliverables. You will evolve in a multidisciplinary environment, in collaboration with engineering, production, and support teams, under the supervision of the project manager.
Here will be your main challenges:
- Coordinate technical activities related to system development up to delivery.
- Ensure the monitoring of technical deliverables, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project manager.
- Participate in test planning, technical risk management, and problem-solving.
- Act as the technical contact point with clients, suppliers, and internal partners.
- Contribute to drafting technical documents, progress reports, and proposals.
- Prepare estimates of technical efforts and support the financial evaluation of preliminary projects.
THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD POSSESS
- University degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project coordination.
- Good understanding of complex system development processes.
- Mastery of project management tools (MS Project, Jira, etc.)
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- *Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Availability for international travel and participation in field trials.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Demonstrate proactivity and autonomy.
Assets
- Experience in the defense or embedded systems field.
- Knowledge of military standards (MIL-STD, STANAG, etc.).
- Experience in aeronautics and knowledge related to the field of airport ground support equipment.
- Good knowledge of configuration management standards.
- Be flexible and versatile.
