YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES 🎯
- As part of the Material Review Board (MRB) activities, analyze and disposition non-conformance reports related to aircraft structures, systems, and interiors during production, integration, testing, and delivery phases.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Methods, and Quality teams to provide effective technical support.
- Work with engineering specialists from various disciplines (structures, systems, stress, stability and control, flammability, etc.) to identify optimal technical solutions.
- Interface with suppliers when components fall under their design authority.
- Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and reference documents to ensure compliance with design intent when evaluating repairs, replacements, or non-conformance dispositions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure efficient and consistent resolution of technical issues.
- Participate in product integrity and continuous improvement activities.
- Consider customer requirements and expectations when resolving technical issues.
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, combined with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. A technical diploma with significant relevant experience will also be considered.
- Interest and ability to obtain MRB engineering delegation following an on-the-job training period.
- Strong knowledge of metallic and composite structures, aircraft interiors, and aircraft systems installation.
- Experience handling non-conformances in an aerospace environment is considered a strong asset.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
- Sound technical judgment and a practical problem-solving approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; French is considered an asset.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and navigate digital mock-ups using CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD software.
