The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Engineering Professional - Structural design to join our engineering team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work jointly with multidisciplinary teams and structural suppliers.
You will be part of the engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining change documentation (3D models, 2D drawings, reports, slides) while driving project progress transversally.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Engineering Professional - Structural design will be to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, and support design and program reviews with partners and suppliers.

Your challenges:
- Closely interface with technology, stress, systems, manufacturing, test groups, and structural suppliers.
- Produce change documentation through 3D models, 2D drawings, reports, slides, lists, etc.
- Directly support other engineering and operations departments.
- Support design and program reviews with partners and suppliers.
- Follow project evolution with transverse functions, produce status reports, and ensure high-quality engineering deliverables are provided per commitment.
- Apply technical knowledge to provide solutions to problems of moderate scope and complexity using judgment and defined procedures with leadership.
Your boarding pass:
- Bachelor's degree or technologist diploma in mechanical or aerospace engineering.
- 0 to 10 years of relevant experience in aerospace or a related industry.
- Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems installation, design for manufacturing, detail design (sheet metal, machined parts, piping, component assembly), and mechanical drafting standards.
- Strong interest in project management topics (planning, cost, follow-up, risk management, anticipation) in a transversal setup.
- Knowledge of CATIA / ENOVIA V5, Google Suite or MS Office, and Python.
- Curious, energetic, and continuous-improvement-oriented person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
- High sense of commitment, willingness to accept responsibilities, act independently, and collaborate effectively with partners and suppliers (assets).
- Proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.
Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
