TASKS YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH 🎯
- Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics or aircraft icing.
- Understand and frame the results within the context of the design and right sizing of an aircraft.
- Prepare test plans.
- Document analysis, ground and flight test results.
- Write and update engineering practice documents.
Requirements
YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS 💎
- You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (including courses or projects in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in-flight icing and/or CFD analyses). A master's degree is an asset.
- You have a minimum of 8 to 12 years of experience in thermodynamics and icing engineering.
- Self-motivated and innovative team player.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (advanced level in Excel).
- Knowledge of Siemens Flomaster is an asset.
- Familiarity with programming (Unix operating system and languages such as Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C# & Python) is an asset.
- Good interpersonal skills and strong written and oral communication skills.
- Willing to travel for short-term assignments.
