What will your daily life look like?

  • Develop, validate, and use complex computer programs for CMM coordinate measuring machines

  • Interpret inspection reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure part dimensions comply

  • Plan, to optimize operations, precision measuring instruments for dimensional inspections

  • Perform the mathematical calculations necessary for part inspection

  • Participate in quality improvement investigations and activities

  • Identify defects according to specifications and identify non-conforming parts

  • Prepare inspection reports

  • Perform the computer transactions necessary for part tracking

  • Maintain appropriate records related to the Quality system

What you need to succeed

  • Hold at least a DEC or AEC in mechanical engineering or other related field

  • Experience in metrology and CMM programming in a precision industrial environment

  • Problem-solving skills and analytical mind

  • Demonstrate autonomy and know-how to program the inspection of complex parts

  • Good command and knowledge of reading complex plans and applicable geometric tolerancing

  • Knowledge of MS Outlook and Office computer tools as well as CMM programming language

  • Interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude

  • Involvement in the continuous improvement of processes and methods

  • This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may come from international organizations.
