What will your daily life be like?

• Develop, validate, and use complex computer programs for CMM coordinate measuring machines

• Interpret verification reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure part dimensions conform

• Plan, to optimize operations, precision measuring instruments for dimensional verifications

• Perform the mathematical calculations necessary for part inspection

• Participate in quality improvement surveys and activities

• Identify defects according to specifications and identify non-conforming parts

• Prepare verification reports

• Perform the computer transactions necessary for part tracking

• Maintain appropriate records related to the Quality system

What you need to succeed

• Hold at least a DEC or an AEC in mechanical engineering or another related field

• Experience in metrology and CMM programming in a precision industrial environment

• Problem-solving skills and analytical mind

• Demonstrate autonomy and know-how to program the verification of complex parts

• Good mastery and knowledge of reading complex plans and applicable geometric tolerancing

• Knowledge of MS Outlook and Office computer tools as well as CMM programming language

• Interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude

• Involvement in the continuous improvement of processes and methods

• This position is in a French-speaking work environment, however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
