What will your daily life look like?
Develop, validate, and use complex computer programs for CMM coordinate measuring machines
Interpret verification reports, drawings, and specifications to ensure part dimensions conform
Plan, to optimize operations, precision measuring instruments for dimensional verifications
Perform the mathematical calculations necessary for part inspection
Participate in quality improvement investigations and activities
Identify defects according to specifications and identify non-conforming parts
Prepare verification reports
Perform the computer transactions necessary for part tracking
Maintain appropriate records related to the Quality system
What you need to succeed
Hold at least a DEC or AEC in mechanical engineering or another related field
Experience in metrology and CMM programming in a precision industrial environment
Problem-solving skills and analytical mind
Demonstrate autonomy and expertise in programming complex part verification
Good command and knowledge of reading complex plans and applicable geometric tolerancing
Knowledge of MS Outlook and Office computer tools as well as CMM programming language
Interpersonal skills: teamwork and positive attitude
Involvement in the continuous improvement of processes and methods
This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
