Our Expectations

  • Provide quality follow-up service on accessory overhaul and repair lines as needed.
  • Solve problems to maintain work quality and material flow.
  • Keep equipment and work area clean and in good condition.
  • Participate in training and share knowledge with teammates on various equipment and tasks.
  • Perform other similar tasks of lesser or equal complexity related to the aforementioned functions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, maintain established scheduling concepts.
  • Work in collaboration with other trades and perform related tasks.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like

  • Ensure repair processes have been performed in accordance with technical specifications.
  • Work from instructions such as sketches and overhaul or maintenance manuals. Visually and dimensionally inspect engine accessories, ensure configuration, and schedule them using service bulletins.
  • Check the results of previously performed tests on engine accessories. Check re-machining sheets and tags to determine and certify that work has been accomplished in compliance with processes. Issue the airworthiness certificate.
  • Complete required documentation. Perform computer transactions necessary for parts tracking. Keep appropriate records of various parameters to establish efficient operations with statistical process control. Review statistics, make decisions regarding the continuity of operations. Report and record non-conforming part conditions or non-compliance with inspection requirements to the quality department.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Hold a DEC in aeronautics or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience in the field of aeronautics;
  • Fluency in oral and written French.
  • This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Mastery of SAP is an asset.
