Job summary:
Under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Inspector's mission is to ensure that the product is manufactured according to Engineering department requests, customer specifications and Quality standards, while respecting health and safety requirements.
Your challenges:
Support Production by delivering the technical information necessary to carry out the work;
Ensure the conformity of the work carried out according to the Engineering department requests, customer specifications and Quality standards;
Report non-conformities, ensure their follow-up and certify repairs;
Ensure that the tools used by Production are calibrated;
Perform preliminary and progressive inspections of the electrical system, and verify operational functionality;
Perform final inspections and verify documentation;
Participate in continuous improvement activities;
All other tasks related to the position.
Your profile:
DEP in cable and circuit assembly OR DEC/AEC Avionics Technology;
Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field of electrical assembly in aircraft or on bench;
Successfully pass a selection interview which may include a practical and theoretical technical test;
Master plan reading;
Have general mechanical knowledge;
Master the Office Suite;
Master technical English;
Master the use of measuring tools;
Knowledge of SAP and PLM is an asset;
Knowledge of Catia or any other 3D design software is an asset;
Have good communication skills;
Demonstrate analytical skills, be precise and meticulous;
Be able to work under pressure.
Physical effort: physical effort consists of working in uncomfortable positions to ensure inspection, daily but for short durations.
Physical working environment: the job holder is exposed to continuous noise and occasional chemical products. They must also work in confined spaces daily but for short durations.
