The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the conformity, quality and safety of maintenance work performed on the fleet's aircraft. Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of aeronautical operations.
Responsibilities
- Grant AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated personnel hold the appropriate licences;
- Approve and maintain weight and balance records, certificates of airworthiness, registration certificates, and ensure they are present on board;
- Supervise maintenance personnel training, perform in-process inspections and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures;
- Monitor detected defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work;
- Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Desired skills
- College diploma (DEC) or college certificate (AEC) in aircraft maintenance;
- M2 licence and a minimum of 10 years' experience in aircraft maintenance;
- At least 5 years' experience as a Preflight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry.

- Autonomy, initiative and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities and suppliers;
- Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including understanding of applicable standards and regulations;
- Ability to carry out thorough and accurate inspections, with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage and maintain maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements;
- Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation;
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot and make informed decisions in complex situations;
- Commitment to safety and quality, with an in-depth understanding of aviation safety management systems.
