The aircraft maintenance inspector is responsible for ensuring the compliance, quality, and safety of maintenance work performed on the fleet's aircraft. Under the supervision of the aircraft maintenance program manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays an essential role in ensuring the quality and safety of aviation operations.

Responsibilities

  • Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure that delegated persons hold the appropriate licenses;
  • Approve and maintain weight and balance records, airworthiness certificates, certificates of registration, and ensure they are on board;
  • Supervise maintenance personnel training, perform in-progress inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures;
  • Track detected defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work;
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations;
  • Perform periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Desired Skills

  • Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in aircraft maintenance;
  • M2 license and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aircraft maintenance field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pre-flight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry.

Requirements

  • Autonomy, initiative, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities, and suppliers;
  • Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including an understanding of applicable standards and regulations;
  • Ability to perform thorough and precise inspections with special attention to detail;
  • Aptitude to manage and maintain maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation;
  • Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions in complex situations;
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a thorough understanding of aviation safety management systems.
