Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays an essential role in ensuring the quality and safety of aeronautical operations.

Responsibilities

  • Grant AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated personnel hold the appropriate licenses
  • Approve and maintain weight and balance records, airworthiness certificates, registration certificates, and ensure they are carried on board
  • Supervise maintenance personnel training, perform on-the-job inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures
  • Follow up on detected defects, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Desired skills

  • College diploma (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in aircraft maintenance
  • M2 license and a minimum of 10 years' experience in aircraft maintenance
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Pre-Flight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry

Requirements

  • Autonomy, initiative, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities, and suppliers
  • Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including understanding applicable standards and regulations
  • Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections with close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and maintain maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and make informed decisions in complex situations
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a strong understanding of aviation safety management systems
