Description

Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays a key role in ensuring the quality and safety of aviation operations.

Responsibilities

  • Grant AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated personnel hold the appropriate licenses;
  • Approve and maintain weight and balance records, airworthiness certificates, registration certificates, and ensure they are present on board;
  • Oversee maintenance personnel training, perform in-progress inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures;
  • Track reported defects, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work;
  • Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations;
  • Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required qualifications

  • College diploma (DEC) or college-level certificate (AEC) in aircraft maintenance;
  • M2 license and a minimum of 10 years' experience in aircraft maintenance;
  • At least 5 years' experience as a Pre-flight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry.

  • Autonomy, initiative and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team;
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities and suppliers;
  • Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including understanding of applicable standards and regulations;
  • Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections with strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage and maintain maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation;
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and make informed decisions in complex situations;
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a thorough understanding of aviation safety management systems.
