As a quality control inspector at Rheinmetall Canada, you will benefit from a dynamic and human-centric work environment that values teamwork, leadership, and personal growth. In addition to inspection-related tasks, the person will act as a liaison with customer service to follow up on cases related to product quality.
The ideal profile would be someone with experience in a manufacturing environment.
Here are your main responsibilities:
- Participate in the basic inspection of mechanical and electrical parts upon receipt and during production, according to established criteria.
- Support the quality team in documenting non-conformities and drafting simple reports.
- Collaborate with customer service to respond to requests related to the quality of delivered products.
- Perform visual and dimensional checks using standard measuring tools.
- Assist in validating assemblies and basic functional tests.
- Participate in the inspection of surface treatments (painting, anodizing, etc.).
- Document inspection activities in internal systems (SAP, forms, etc.).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes.
The qualifications you should possess:
- Vocational or college diploma in a technical field (mechanics, electrotechnics, etc.).
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Comfortable with computer tools (Office Suite, SAP® an asset).
- Basic knowledge of technical drawing reading.
- Good communication skills in French and English.
- Customer service sense and ability to manage follow-ups with rigor.
Assets
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IPC-610 standards.
- Experience with measuring instruments such as CMM or FARO.
- Experience in a machinist role or in weld inspection.
