What your day will look like

  • Visually and dimensionally inspect engine parts.
  • Ensure the configuration and quality of parts and engines.
  • Use precision measuring instruments for dimensional checks.
  • Certify through inspections and audits that subassemblies, major assemblies and finished engines meet specifications. Report non-conformances in the system and recommend corrective actions.
  • Handle defective or damaged parts according to their history records.
  • Maintain appropriate records of various parameters to ensure operational efficiency and enable statistical process tracking.
  • Ensure and certify that repairs or modifications were carried out according to procedures; validate the related documentation.
  • Monitor quality and processes on assembly lines and test stands, when required.
  • Perform SAP transactions and complete required work documentation.

What you need to succeed

  • DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Aeronautics or equivalent.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Relevant experience: 2 to 5 years in the aerospace field.
  • Strong ability to read technical drawings.
  • High level of autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Interpersonal skills: teamwork and a positive attitude.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • This position is in a French-speaking work environment; however, functional knowledge of English is required to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms from international organizations, and to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
